SOCIAL & GUEST PROGRAMMES

A social programme will provide an opportunity for informal contacts and discussions among the participants. The events will include Welcome Reception, Concert, and a Conference Dinner. The conference excursion will include local heritage and chemistry parts.

A guest programme will be organised to take advantage of the special atmosphere of Western Bohemian region - its spas, historical monuments, and scenic beauties (e.g. Karlovy Vary, Frantiskovy Lazne, etc.).

A post-conference week-end trip to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, will offer the registrants the opportunity to get acquainted with one of the world's most popular tourist destinations.

Welcome Reception & Opening Ceremony
Welcome reception will be held for the conference participants at the "Casino" conference centre on Sunday evening, 23th April 2006, from 7.00 to 8.30 p.m. The costs of the reception have been included both in the conference and the accompanying persons registration fees. The conference opening ceremony will take place during the reception.


POST CONFERENCE TRIP

The Organising Committee of the 15th Radiochemical Conference, has organised for the conference participants a post-conference week-end trip to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The programme of the Tour includes two nights in a *** hotel, a boat trip with dinner and music, guided (English-speaking) walk sightseeing tour of Prague, and an optional concert or ballet performance. Registration for the trip should be preferably made together with Conferencece Registration, however, late tour registration option is expected to be available at the on-site registration (subject to availability of accommodation). The programme is as follows:

Friday, 28 April 2006: 18:00-18:30 Arrival to hotel in Prague
Evening (optional, not included in the tour price) -
concert or ballet performance
Saturday, 29 April 2006: 09:30-13:00 Sightseeing tour of Prague (English-speaking guide)
19:00-23:00 Boat trip with dinner
Sunday, 30 April 2006: No programme, reserved for your own leisure time

To be able to easily move around the city, all participants will be provided with a three-days public transportation ticket, city and public transportation maps, and other information materials.
